  3. Basic tenants of Project Managements
  4. Critical success factors for project management
  5. Project Management Tools and Techniques: Don’t leave home without them
  6. Assessment: What are your strengths and weakness in being able to serve on and/or lead work projects?

PM102: Project Communication for Effective Business Results

Who should attend:

  • All personnel who have a role in project management
  • All project managers and administrators
  • Personnel who have a communication responsibility in and around projects

Objectives:

  1. To prepare project professionals for the rigorous job of real-time communication during work projects
  2. To show project professionals the best ways to communicate during critical phases of projects (construction and technology projects)

  2. Comprehensive communication methods: when they work and when not
  3. The Project life cycle: critical events and transitions
  4. Matching communication to Project events and transitions
  5. Building and executing the comprehensive communication plan for the project
  6. Personal skills needed for perfect project communication

  2. To prepare to fully integrate program and project deliverables into the day-to-day operation of the business
  3. To provide assessment information that managers can use to build their competence in change leadership

  2. The traditional project life cycle: Is that enough for results?
  3. Project deliverables and how to get them into action
  4. Engineering the project deliverable to be used in the day-to-day operation of the business
  5. Building work process training on how to use project deliverables in the business
