A practical, hands-on interactive workbook, providing the
tools you need to make real change happen in your organization.
With the Engineering Organizational Change (EOC) Workbook,
you will have the roadmap you need to assess where you are
in your organizational change, to identify the five absolute
requirements for change, and to develop your plan to make
sure real organizational change happens in a healthy and profitable
way.
The workbook is built around the idea that Engineering Organizational
Change is all about physically changing the nuts and bolts of
the organization to make the envisioned change a reality. Yes,
you still need a clear vision of where you want to go and an
intensive program to communicate that vision to all parties
concerned. And you still have to have a plan for action for
"what to do every Monday morning" during the implementation.
But Engineering Organizational Change requires alteration of
three critical categories of "stuff" that make up
the organization:
1. its Processes/Procedures
2. its Plant/Equipment/Tools (PET)
3. its Performance Management Systems (translated to mean its
"contracts" with its employees)
The workbook will take you step by step through these critical
categories and will help you to
- get a better read on where you are in change
- identify what requirements must still be met in order to
successfully change these critical pieces of the organization
- develop your plan of action (implementation plan) to get
to work on successful change
This workbook is a great companion to Dutch's book Change
