HOLLAND & DAVIS
Management Consulting

Changing How Companies Think and Work
…for Better Bottom Line Results

HOLLAND & DAVIS is dedicated to helping clients reach their business visions…on target, on time, and on budget.

We work side-by-side with our clients to:

  • clarify and detail their vision,
  • plan the initiatives that must be taken to reach that vision,
  • turn initiatives into concrete projects, and then
  • support those projects with project management resources and/or
  • training as needed to supplement the client's personnel.

Our clients do not use us to run their day-to-day business but to build the business they need for tomorrow. We go beyond consulting to actual implementation/execution…and provide experienced "been there, done that…and done it well" project resources who can help an organization reach its vision.

We do not write consulting reports. We believe that most clients know where they want to go but are having some challenges getting there on time…because of a shortage of manpower, skills, and tools.

Our job is to help the client's personnel handle the work required to reach the vision or do it for them, depending on client staffing availability.

Mission/Philosophy

HOLLAND & DAVIS is an alternative to traditional management consulting firms. Our purpose is simple and straightforward:

We Help Companies to Gain and Maintain
Significant Strategic Advantage in the Marketplace

We differ from other consulting firms ...

  • We partner with clients to achieve measurable results.
  • We offer long-term availability of services. We have worked with some clients for 30 years on a variety of leadership initiatives.
  • We don't profess to bring all of the answers. We provide the experience, tools and discipline to guide clients toward
    • asking the right questions,
    • addressing the right issues, and
    • developing answers themselves.
  • We are the Champions of "HOW."

We leverage your ideas and strategies into action ...
You know your business better than anyone because you are the most closely involved in it. We team with you to unlock the answers that may already be present within your organization, but are hidden behind the status quo.

By involving several levels of employees, managers and executives, we help your organization build both the consensus and the commitment that define and energize the project. We work with you and your staff to implement specific action programs

  • programs which your people want to make work because
  • they helped develop them.

Services

Service 1: Change Management/Operations Integration

HOLLAND & DAVIS has been engineering organizational change for more than 20 years ... long before the words "Change Management" were fashionable. HDI has helped more than 100 clients with change initiatives over the past 20 years ... supplying hands-on consulting, project and program management as well as training and coaching.

Our clients tell us that our approaches to Change Management are the most simple, straight forward, and practical they have seen. They tell us that we talk their language and the language of business, not our own language of new terms and jargon.

We use simple everyday metaphors for explaining Change Management that clients can master and use within one or two hours. We can't help but transfer our knowledge to our clients ... cause they "get it" quickly! And we wrote the definitive "how to do it" book Change Is the Rule: Practical Actions for Change On Target, On Time, and On Budget, Dearborn Trade, 2000 (on Amazon.com).
