Teaching the World to
Change
Who is Holland & Davis?
Holland & Davis is a professional services firm that specializes in all aspects of organizational change. No organizational change is too small … or too large and complex for our firm to tackle. We know change backwards, forwards, and sideways … and we have taken our knowledge and time to write several practical books on change and project management. We believe that changing an organization is more an engineering problem than one of psychology. We work for both companies and for the individuals within them.
Our Value Proposition
We work arm-in-arm with our clients to
- make business change happen … on target, on time, and on budget …
- while respecting client employees
- and saving their personal time and dignity.
|
Holland & Davis tackles all of the fundamental kinds of organizational change:
- Changing corporate strategy
- Integrating organizations after merger or acquisition
- Reengineering core work processes
- Inserting and integrating new technologies (including information technology)
- Changing corporate culture (ie., the way we do things around here)
Holland & Davis has been in business since 1970, when we were founded as “Organizational Technology Inc.” We changed our name to proper nouns (Holland & Davis) in 1980, to exemplify the professional service firm we are. We plan to have a modest celebration on our 40th anniversary … which is quickly approaching.
Our operations are based from two centrally – located offices in Houston and San Antonio, Texas. From here our travel destinations have been endless. We work globally since many of our clients have global operations. Over the last two years, we have completed projects in more than a dozen countries. On occasion, we have used “local resources” for global work, but we prefer deploying our proven experts for these types of engagements. Our professionals have, on average, 20+ years of business and consulting experience, and as a team represent a wide array of valuable knowledge, skills, and expertise.
Our clients come from many industries because change is now the rule everywhere. We specialize in leading change … and we are able to do that across industries through our arm-in-arm approach with our clients’ industry and subject matter experts. Our clients come from the Fortune 1000 (public and private), as well as from federal and state government.
Our clients say “when Holland & Davis in on the job, results happen.” We are frequently described as practical, down to earth, flexible, and professional. We routinely work with other professional vendors without competition and conflict. We pride ourselves in learning to speak our client’s language, not requiring them to learn ours. We don’t do everything just right … but we make it right.
