What is Change Management?
Change Management is the use of systematic methods
to ensure that a planned organizational change can be
- (1) guided in the planned
direction,
- (2) conducted in a cost-effective
and efficient manner,
- (3) completed within the
targeted time frame, and
- (4) with the desired results.
The purpose of Change Management is to identify and mitigate
the very real risks associated with an Organizational Change.
We look at Change
Management as far more science than art ... as a set of
integrated actions that can be taken to ensure the organization
changes in a known, controlled direction and manner. To us
Change Management can be planned, organized, directed, led, and
controlled to desired results. In fact, our approach is called
Engineering Organizational Change and is documented in the
